Mother's Day. Without my mother, I would not have to check all the expiration dates in the fridge, because she believes in the two week rule. I would have always been late to seminary, and school-- and missed all those fun disagreements at seven in the morning. I wouldn't know how to properly clean, and always do what she asks-- the first time she asks. I would never be able to call home, home without her there. I would have missed all the late night talks, about what I thought was my crazy life. Most importantly I wouldn't be married to my love without her wise advice, and best example. My mom is one heck of a woman for putting up with the all of us maniacs, and I couldn't ask for a more wonderful mother.
We have been very intrigued lately learning of the squatty potty. If you don't know what it is you can youtube, or google it. The fascinating science of squatting gave me enough curiosity to check it out for myself. With a buy two get one free sale, I couldn't resist. I got me and my man one for ourselves, and one for each of our mothers. Mostly because it was going to be hilarious to watch them open it and figure out what it was, but also to see what this squatty potty business is all about. .
Michael and I finally made it to the Mummy Exhibition, before they closed. Another highlight of my week, there were so many interesting things we learned and got to see. I am amazed at the history behind mummification, and natural mummification-- if the opportunity ever arises to go, I definitely recommend going. You will not be sorry you did. We almost passed it up, but I am sure glad we didn't.

Also a random picture of an adorable baby donkey that lives down the street. I constantly make Michael pullover so I can pet it.
Have a great week friend.
