Driving to school was crazy, and took twice as long as it usually does. Walking into the school was really a delight-- I managed to make it to English thirty minutes late with sopping wet socks and boots. The boy next to me probably thought I was crazy when I took off my shoes; I left my socks on though and did the best I could to warm my toes.
An hour later with fairly damp feet I dashed to my Computer Science class all the way across campus, with the snow still coming down hard. I was able to meet up with my handsome boy for lunch, we were sad we didn't have much time -- we wanted to build a giant snowman. Michael went to the rest of his classes and I started another long journey home.
My sister had the bright idea to hot tub, so I went over to my parents house and enjoyed a nice little soak. I was happy to get home and spend the rest of the evening cuddling up with my husband, drinking hot cocoa and finishing some homework. Snow day-- Conquered.
