PICNIC IN THE PARK

 My love and I were thrilled that the sun has finally come out to play. As much as we have loved this winter and all the wonderful things it has brought us, we are ready for some summer lovin'. Actually we would be willing to settle for 45-50 degree weather at this point. We definitely took advantage this weekend when it was warm enough that we didn't have to bundle up to go outside. On Sunday we went on a picnic and it was lovely, the sun was out and all we needed was our jackets and each other. We just enjoyed being out in the sun--  but of course the cold wind started to pick up and in Utah the weather will change on you in seconds.  We decided to head back inside for warmth.

I am aching for the weather to start heating up, I need to be outside. Being cooped up all winter is starting to drive me mad, I will find any excuse to do something outside. This week is suppose to heat up, and Michael and I are on spring break so we are hoping to get out and do something fun. Luckily I married an outdoorsy man who gets just as excited, or even more excited than I do. Bring on the sun people.

Also last night while Michael was working hard on homework, I was focused on catching popcorn in my mouth. Amused and distracted, he decided to document some pretty impressive popcorn catching. You will find that I am sitting on a new rug that I am so excited about. I love it so much, and the painting in the background we have been meaning to put up. The house is coming together slowly but surely.
